Growing up

Life has changed so much in the past year...so fast..so many changes..finally i am here... not sure where...but by myself... my mail inboxes are empty or i get junk mails..my phone doesnt ring as much.... no one is as close to me to confide everything in them as i naively used to before..I deal with things by myself..I have grown up. Its about time. There is a sense of peace in me amidst all the chaos.

IF

This is the best words I have ever read.... every letter is ultimate truth... and to see that what i think how dignified and inspiring a person should be matches somewhere with what rudyard kipling writes makes me feel on top of the world :

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son

And we are back...

Wow! almost a year since I had a decent post. Well i was never a prolific blogger and I am not really a part of the always-active blogoshpere. I am not even sure why I blog..i think i blog because i like to write something now and then when i feel like it.

In the past year life has been speeding to I am not sure where and it has been more eventful
than I thought I could handle but it so happens that I thought less of me. I finally like myself. Ha! sounds funny but it was quite a journey to get to like yourself but worth it.

Anyways, I am not really sure what happened to my crossedroads url. One day i try to change the template and revive my blog but it goes haywire and i sought the "tech savy" :P Deep's help. But she managed to even loose some data and links from my blog and there i quit and decided to create a new one.

So I have no big point for my first post here.. dont even expect me to have one in the future.
